Friedrichshafen Main Cemetery has several precisely located cultural, architectural or biographical points that can inform a self-planned visit. They are presented as independent subjects, not as a prescribed sequence.

Arrival and orientation
The visitor address is Hochstraße 41, 88045 Friedrichshafen.
- Pedestrian gate 1

The Friedhof bus stop is directly beside the grounds. Other nearby stops are Montafonstraße and Heinrich-Heine-Straße. Choose the stop that serves the entrance you need and check the current timetable.
Dedicated parking areas are mapped at the main cemetery. Two designated disabled parking spaces are at the side entrance on Hochstraße 41–43; a blue disabled parking permit is required.

Visiting framework
Daily 08:00–20:00 from April to September; daily 08:00–18:00 from October to March. The cemetery bell signals closing before the gates are locked; the grounds are not illuminated.
Use this information to choose when to visit and keep the relevant exit in mind. A particular grave cannot be inferred from the points above; obtain its section, row and grave number first.
Visit respectfully
Remain on paths intended for visitors at Friedrichshafen Main Cemetery, keep clear of funerals and personal farewells, and do not touch monuments or planting.
